Senior Tax Manager to Saab

We are now looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join Saab.

About the role

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will take on a key role in corporate taxation, ensuring that Saab complies with tax regulations in all countries where we operate. You will handle a variety of tax-related tasks, manage projects, and provide advice on international business, mergers and acquisitions, legal structures, and tax policies. You will:

  • Provide strategic advice on tax accounting, reporting, and related questions across all countries where Saab operates, with a special focus on the Group’s effective tax rate and tax accounting issues connected to OECD Pillar Two regulations.
  • Support and review tax calculations and corporate income tax returns (mainly for Swedish entities).
  • Help evaluate tax risks in cross-border business opportunities and ensure tax compliance in relation to awarded contracts.
  • Participate in mergers, acquisitions, investment and restructuring projects, focusing on tax and structuring related workstreams.
  • Analyze the capital structure of legal entities and ensure tax optimization and compliance with Thin Capitalization rules.
  • Lead projects to automate and digitalize tax related processes.

You will be part of the Group Tax team, which is part of the Group Finance organization, and you will report to the Head of Group Tax. The team consists of seven tax professionals and one Corporate Paralegal. While the main location for this role is in Linköping, Stockholm is also an option.

About you

We are looking for someone who is analytical and has a solid understanding of finance. You are structured, business-oriented, and self-driven, taking full responsibility for your projects. You enjoy working both independently and in teams and have strong collaboration skills to build trust and long-term relationships with colleagues and external partners across the world. You have:

  • A university degree in finance, law, or business law.
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm and/or as an in-house specialist in a multinational company.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.

It is a merit if you have:

  • Experience with tax accounting and compliance in public, multinational companies.
  • Familiarity with finance systems such as UNIT4/Agresso and Oracle HFM Hyperion.

This position requires you to undergo a security clearance process according to current regulations. For some positions, additional requirements related to citizenship may apply.
