At our head office in Stockholm, you will be part of Group Tax who work to solve complex challenges in our field. You will get a very good insight into how the credit finance market operates – partly from the investment prospects and the acquisition of the credit portfolio, partly from the Hoist financing model and partly from the management of the credit portfolio. You will get to work closely with the business operations and the investment team both when acquiring credit portfolios or entering new markets. What is also expected, is the further improvement of the current team’s credit and finance market business knowledge and processes. We collaborate with compliance, risk, legal, accounting, internal banking and other important staff functions. You will report to the Head of Tax who in turn reports to the CFO.
Your main duties
- You will monitor compliance with VAT regulations and measures within the group
- You will continuously analyze VAT reporting using digital tools to ensure that VAT is correctly accounted for and take appropriate actions when necessary
- You will be responsible for ongoing improvement, standardization, and digitalization initiatives within VAT reporting, for legal entities and branches in at least thirteen jurisdictions
- You will be involved in various tax projects within the group
Who are you?
You have:
- At least seven (7) years of experience from VAT and indirect tax advisory
- A master’s degree in finance, law, and/or accounting
- Solid knowledge of VAT regulations within the European Union
- Documented practical experience of financial VAT legislation
- Adequate mathematical skills
- Excellent skills in MS Word and Excel
- Fluency in English, advanced knowledge of a second foreign language is a merit
- Practical knowledge of an ERP system is an advantage

To succeed in this role, you are a strong relationship builder with a good ability to handle many different stakeholders both internally and externally. Furthermore, you are a good team player while being able to drive and own your issues independently.
